TMJ without pain
If you have any noises, or your jaw gets stuck when you open or close, it can indicate a TMJ problem. Pain is not always a symptom, and if ignored can make it worse over time. The absence of pain usually means that your body has adapted to the malfunctioning TMJ and slowly made its own changes to compensate. However this usually means that your body is just hiding the problem from your brain without the pain. It's always best to evaluate your TMJ even with the lack of pain.
