TMJ noises
If your temporomandibular joint(TMJ) is clicking, popping, or making crunching sounds, always get it checked even if it is not painful. The sounds point to a dislocation in the TMJ and indicate that it is not functioning correctly. The TMJ can develop arthritis similar to any other joint in the body that is not working correctly. It may not be now, or the near future, but eventually the wear and damage to the joint will have an effect for the worse. Dr. Keri Do is well-trained in diagnosis of the TMJ and can determine what is the best way to correct your TMJ problems.
